We built Little Stars for the dinner-table chaos.
Two parents, four kids between us, and a fridge covered in bent sticker charts that lasted nine days each. We wanted something simpler, kinder, and harder to lose under the sofa.
Our story
Little Stars started as a printable PDF for our own families. The kids loved the stars. We hated the printing, the laminating, and the inevitable Tuesday meltdown when one chart got more stickers than the other.
So we made a small web app. It worked. Other parents asked for it. We added a second child, then a third. Then siblings. Then grandparents. Then a way to say "no screen time today" without a war.
What you see here is the polished version of that scrappy first attempt. The same idea, more useful, kinder to your day, and built to respect the small humans who use it.
Make the routine feel like a win.
The best reward chart isn't the one with the most features. It's the one your family still uses three months in. We measure ourselves on that — not downloads, not engagement loops, not retention dashboards.
"Little Stars is a family reward chart for children aged 3 to 12. Parents add chores, kindness goals, or self-care moments; kids tap a sticker when they finish one and earn stars they can swap for real-world rewards the family chooses together."
Three things, non-negotiable.
